Debbie Johnson
I studied pottery as part of my B. Ed degree at Nene College, Northampton and then went on to teach children with special needs in a variety of settings for 36 years. In 2016 I took early retirement and joined Claywirks.
At college I focused on hand-building and used the work of Samuel Palmer
as inspiration for creating landscapes with sheep nestling beneath the trees.
I continue to enjoy hand-building and now create a range of unique animals
using a simple pinch pot as a starting point and a variety of ornamental trees..
